Wardrobe sign-in sheet: fields and preview

Published 13 October 2026

A sign-in sheet gives a wardrobe department space to record sign-in details for a performance. Here is the original Stagecraft page and what its fields hold.

What the header identifies

This wardrobe sign-in sheet has header fields for production, date, and performance time. They identify the performance above the table, rather than repeating that information in each row. The subtitle describes the page as department sign-in for one performance day.

The page contains 16 blank rows, with no example names or recorded attendance. Nothing shown here comes from an existing production or a real crew. The preview is the complete US Letter page from the Stagecraft product PDF.

The 5 table columns

The columns are name, call, signed, initials, and notes. Name and notes have the widest spaces; call, signed, and initials occupy narrower columns. The table leaves each entry blank so the department can supply its own information.

The printed labels distinguish call from signed, rather than combining them into one field. There is no separate time-out column or hours calculation on this page. The notes column provides writing space beyond the short entries in the other columns.

The page does not define a required signature format or decide what counts as attendance. A crew can use its own terminology when annotating those fields. These descriptions explain the document, not a rule for how a department must handle sign-in.

Adapting the record to a production

The header and blank rows let the same layout hold different productions, dates, performance times, and crew names. The notes space can hold additional context the department chooses to record. It is not a substitute for fields the production needs but this page does not contain.

Wardrobe Supervisor Toolkit separates sign-in, crew assignments, track coverage, and payroll tracking into different page types. The crew assignments page has name, role, tracks or areas, call, and notes columns. The payroll tracking page includes shows, cover pays, hours, submitted, and paid columns.

Those pages hold different information from this sign-in table. Their presence in the same toolkit does not make sign-in a payroll calculation or a coverage plan. The production decides which records it needs and how they relate.

Inspecting the layout

The free sample is a separate preset list, not a sign-in sheet. It contains original example presets and blank rows, and offers another view of the Stagecraft page layout. Its PDF also includes US Letter and A4.
